Free 1-Hour IFS Webinar for Therapists | Earn 1 CE Hour
If you’ve heard about Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy and felt curious — but also a little intimidated about how to access the trainings you need to learn the skills of the IFS model — you’re not alone. Many therapists are drawn to IFS because of its depth, compassion, and transformative potential, yet find themselves wondering:
“How do I know if a training is reputable or worth the investment?”
“How do I actually use IFS in session?”
“How do I gain the skills I need to practice IFS with my clients?”
The truth is, you don’t have to wait to get into an IFSI training to start integrating IFS principles into your clinical work and become IFS informed. You just need a clear foundation — one that blends knowledge with practical, hands-on skills so you can apply the model competently and ethically.
That’s exactly why I created a free 1-hour live webinar for therapists, designed to help you understand the basics of IFS, see how it fits with your current approach, and earn 1 CE credit while you learn.
Why Therapists Are Turning to IFS Therapy
Over the past few years, Internal Family Systems has quickly become one of the most sought-after models in trauma therapy. It’s evidence-based, adaptable, and deeply respectful of the inner world of both client and therapist.
IFS helps clients:
- Understand their inner world and the roles parts play
- Build self-compassion and reduce internal conflict
- Heal the burdens carried by protective and exiled parts
- Create a sense of connection and inner clarity
For therapists, IFS offers something equally powerful: a way to show up with more Self-energy, reduce burnout, and work more gently with resistance and protection.
But here’s what I’ve seen after mentoring and consulting with therapists for years — many professionals understand the concept of IFS but struggle with the application. They may know about “parts” and “Self,” but they’re unsure what to say or do in the therapy room to make the model come alive.
Why Many Therapists Struggle to Start Using IFS
It’s common to attend an IFS overview and feel inspired — but still not feel ready to use it with clients. That’s because most introductions to IFS focus on the theory, not the practice.
IFS isn’t just about understanding parts; it’s about how we relate to them — in both our clients and ourselves. Without structured guidance, it can be difficult to know:
- How to recognize when a protector is present
- How to invite a part into dialogue safely
- When to move toward unburdening
- How to avoid blending with your own parts in the process
That’s why this free 1-hour IFS webinar was created — to give therapists a starting point that is both grounded and immediately useful.
